Experience
I have taught and tutored a broad range of students in my college teaching career, including middle school through college-level students. I love the satisfaction of helping others and watching people achieve that "Ahh ha" moment when they understand something. I've always found math to be fun and challenging, and I like seeing students enjoy the subject. I am an online mathematics instructor at a nationally accredited online university. I also tutor elementary, middle, and high school students part-time. I studied mathematics education and taught developmental mathematics at Ohio University and Youngstown State. My experience and love for teaching has not gone unrecognized. I have consistently received outstanding performance reviews from my classes and have been awarded and nominated for several teaching awards.

Hobbies
In general, I am a very organized person. I also consider myself to be very creative, especially when it comes to teaching. As a tutor, I feel I am patient, determined, and adaptable. It is my responsibility to create a student-centered learning environment and figure out what works best for you.
